The Perfect Place to Explore Cornwall
Bay Retreat is a short walk from the world famous, Blue Flag status Carbis Bay beach, and a beautiful longer walk along the Coastal Path to the beautiful holiday town of St Ives. The apartment is very close to Carbis Bay station (less than 2-minute walk!) making it ideal for beating the holiday traffic and taking the train. Trains run very frequrently to St Ives and to St Erth where you can change the the mainline to Penzance. Bay Retreat does have private parking in a gated community, an absolute treasure in this popular area of Cornwall!
We had a wonderful time staying in the Bay Retreat holiday apartment. The flat is much larger than I expected and the views from the balcony were to die for. We went for walks on the beach every morning and got coffees and breakfast baps from the lovely cafe there. It's very convenient for St Ives. My tip is to walk the coastal path there and take the train back! Loved it. We'll definitely be back.
